Fashion manufacturing infrastructure — Australia

Standardizing
fit.
Eliminating
waste.

Shapeless is the modular sizing layer fashion manufacturing has been missing — turning waste into infrastructure, reducing returns, and integrating without disrupting existing production.

The problem

Fashion has a fit problem. And a waste problem. They're the same problem.

Manufacturers are built on fixed pattern systems and standardised grading. Brands are trying to serve bodies that don't behave like those systems. The result is a supply chain that produces too much, fits too few, and discards the rest. Sizing flexibility is expensive — pattern changes require minimum order quantities, and returns are absorbed downstream by brands and customers who eventually stop trusting the category. Shapeless addresses both failures at the source.

01
Modular sizing technology
Garments adjust fit without new grading patterns or production changes — no MOQ required.
02
Waste conversion
Excess fabric from the same production run is converted into modular sizing components — closing the loop at the source, not after the fact.
03
Zero workflow disruption
Integrates into existing production — no redesign required for brands or manufacturers.
04
Return reduction
Better fit at point of purchase directly reduces the $38B annual returns crisis in apparel.

How it works

A modular layer inside the supply chain.

Shapeless operates like Gore-Tex — a licensed functional layer that sits inside the production process, invisible to the end consumer, creating a performance standard that benefits every party in the chain. The manufacturer gains a differentiated capability. The brand reduces returns. The customer receives a garment that actually fits.

01
Factory produces Garments and excess fabric leave production as normal.
02
Waste converted Excess fabric from the same production run enters the Shapeless system — converted into modular sizing components matched to the garment it came from.
03
Shapeless integrates Modular components are produced as part of the existing run — functional, finished, and ready to attach.
04
Brands integrate Modules attach to finished garments — no new patterns, no production changes.

Partnership

We're looking for a co-pilot.

Two prototype rounds are complete. The technical manufacturing pack is finalised. Australian design rights are secured. A provisional patent has been filed. What's next is a manufacturing or brand partner to take this to pilot production.

Manufacturer
Production pilot
You already produce garments at scale. Shapeless integrates into your existing line as a licensable capability — giving you something your competitors don't have. We're looking for a manufacturing partner ready to run a pilot integration with zero workflow disruption.
Brand
Market trial
You sell close-fit garments and you carry the cost of returns. A Shapeless integration reduces that cost while giving your customer a better fit outcome. We're looking for a brand partner to trial the system on an existing product line.

Ready to
build
together?

Shapeless is actively seeking its first co-pilot partner — a manufacturer or brand ready to pilot a modular sizing integration. If that's you, reach out directly.
